You would be aware that the Supreme Court of India has passed a petition which prohibits usage of tinted film of any percentage of VLT (visual light transmission) on any of the glasses of a vehicle. It has come to our notice that Mumbai Police has also initiated a drive wherein they have started imposing penalties and/or seizure of the driving license. Sometimes they even forcibly rip out the sun‐films, which makes the car look shabby and ultimately the car owner has to get it removed. Therefore, if the windscreen and windows of your car are covered with sun‐film, then it is highly recommended that they be removed in order to be in line with the law and also to avoid any undue embarrassment by the roadside. We therefore suggest that you may send your car at any of our service centres, with your approval for removing the sun film from the glasses. We shall be providing this service to our esteemed customer’s at a very nominal charge of Rs. 1500/‐ only for the side and rear glass combined. If your car has a sun‐film on the front glass as well, than the same can be removed with an additional charge of Rs. 500/‐ only. Service Tax will be charged extra as applicable.
